BRAGGS – The Braggs Wildcats (4-1) led the Porum Panthers (0-2) wire to wire Saturday and came home with a convincing 65-31 win.

Separated by just 3 points after one, the Wildcats pulled away in the second quarter and outscored Porum 19-6 in the second eight minutes to take a commanding 31-15 lead at halftime.

Porum committed 15 fouls in the first half that added to the Wildcats totals, while Braggs only had 4 no-no’s over the first 16 minutes.

Daryl Winter and Jaylen Melton were both in double figures for the game, Winter with 22 points and Melton had 15.

The Panthers were led by Michael Wright with 14 points and Isaiah Sallee with 6. Sallee’s points came from beyond the 3-point.

Porum will host the Gore Pirates on the 28th of this month, while Braggs is Idel until the host Webbers Falls on the 1st of December.
