BRAGGS– The No.9 ranked Braggs Wildcats (14-3) Defense suffocated the Haileyville Warriors (5-13) by a score of 86-44 Thursday Night.

From the onset the Wildcats were all over the Warriors with a tight and speedy defense that saw Braggs break out to a 24-11 first quarter lead.

By the half the rout was on with Braggs on top 51-19 and showing no signs of slowing down.

Haileyville’s Cameron Sinsibaugh scored 11 of the Warriors 19 first half points and added 3 in the third quarter for a 14 point night. Max Comstock also had 14 points including one from beyond the bonus stripe.

For Braggs Jaylen Melton led the way with 21 points most coming for break-a ways created by the Warriors defense.

Blaise McMahon added 17 points, most from feeds under the net. And was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.

Logan Falconer and Hazen Edwards each contributed 10 points and Trey Ashley added 9, all from the bonus area for 3’s.

Braggs is scheduled to take on winless Bokoshe (0-12) Friday night and Haileyville remains on the road at Indianola (3-11)
