WEBBERS FALLS – In a 3-way between the Warriors, Canadian, and Quinton, Webbers Falls captured their second win of the day by defeating the Quinton Savages 9-3 in the night cap.

Braydan Robinson led the way for the Warriors (4-1) with four hits, one of which was a home run over the left field fence in the third.

It was a 5-run fourth that put Webbers Falls on top and took the game out of reach for the Savages.

A walk to Brutus Robinson and a Luke Pierce single started the inning, before a dropped third strike to Maddux Shelby scored Pierce to give Webbers Falls a 6-3 lead. An error on a pop fly off the bat of Ben Ward and a Brutus Robinson double along with a 2-RBI single by Stryker Chappell capped the scoring at 9-3 in favor of the Warriors.

The Savages opening 2 runs came in the first inning when with two outs Webbers Falls pitcher Aiden Turley hit two Quinton batters and walked a third before walking another batter to force the first run for Quinton. The next batter was hit by a pitch forcing in another run before Turley got things back under control striking out a batter to end the inning.

Stryker Chappell came in in relief for Turley in the top of the second and finished the game to get the win for the Warriors, allowing no hits and striking out 7 Quinton batters.

Webbers Falls will host Gans Friday in an early 1:30 start and Quinton will travel to Porter to face the Pirates (9-4) Tuesday.
