WEBBERS FALLS – The Warriors kept the winning streak going against the Gans Grizzlies with a decisive 3-inning 11-1 win.

It was the run rule again for the Webbers Falls Warriors thanks to a huge 10-run second inning when they sent 15 batters to the plate against Gans.

It all started with two hit batters and a walk to load the bases for the Warriors before a Gunner Carey single scored the first two runs of the inning.

Brutus Robinson got on next when he was also hit by the Gans pitcher to load the bases again. Then the bats got hot with three consecutive hits and the rout was on.

Maddux Shelby started it off with a double that scored Trysten Wilbourn and Carey, followed by a Braydan Robinson triple that put 2 more runs on the board for a 7-1 Webbers Falls lead.

Two more hits followed via singles from Ben Ward and Stryker Chappell for a 9-1 Warrior lead.

After the rally the error bug bit the Grizzlies. Two miscues and a pass ball to Elliott Kunkel put runners at second and third before Kunkel reached on the third error of the inning that scored Chappell and Webbers Falls led 10-1.

The final run of the inning came on the fourth Gans error of the frame that allowed Kunkel to score the 11th run for the Warriors.

The Warriors blanked Gans in the top of the third to end the game via the “Run Rule”.
