WEBBERS FALLS – On Monday afternoon, the Webbers Falls Warriors (3-2) got on top early and remained there in a convincing 9-1 win over the Wilson Henryetta Tigers (0-2)
Gunner Shelby dominated on the mound with 10 strikeouts and allowed no hits or runs in four innings, leading Webbers Falls Varsity Warriors to a 9-0 win over Wilson Henryetta.
- Wilbourn and Hayden Stephens contributed key RBIs early, and errors by the Tigers helped extend the lead.
The opposing pitcher gave up nine runs (four earned) in three innings. Shelby led with two hits; Stephens, Wilbourn, and Brutus Robinson each had two RBI’S.
Webbers Falls was active on the base pads by stealing five bases early in the contest.
The Warriors next game is Friday against the Hulbert Riders, and the Tigers travel to Hulbert Tuesday afternoon for the Riders home opener.
