WEBBERS FALLS– After a lopsided loss at Dewar the Warriors dealt up a lopsided win Friday night by defeating the Midway Chargers 56-8.

Despite still missing some key players Webbers Falls came home with a convincing victory that will keep them in the running for a playoff spot in OSSAA class B , district 5

The Warriors held Chargers QB Tristen Wolfe to 51 yards passing and grabbed 2 interceptions. Overall, the defense held Midway to 237 total yards on the night.

Maddux Shelby had five carries for 184 yards and four scores to lead the Webbers Falls (6-1) rushing attack on Friday night. He also went 9-of-15 for 272 yards and two touchdowns through the air. Brutus Robinson had two catches for 84 yards and had one interception on defense while Gunner Shelby added four receptions for 79 yards and also picked off a pass. Midway is winless at 0-7 and 0-2.

The Warriors (5-1) will take the short trip to Porum next week to take on the Panthers (2-5) and Midway (0-7) will remain on the road at Caddo (6-1)
