WARNER – Amelia Testa scored the first points of the game for the Liberty Tigers, but from there forward it was all Warner.

Testa’s 2-pointer was all the Lady Lions could muster in the opening quarter while the Lady Eagles put up 15 in the first 8 minutes.

In the opening quarter Harlie Chesser had 6 points, Kambree Ellis 4, and Alexis Fowler one from outside the bonus line for 3 points. Jordan Jackson hit two from the charity stripe.

In the second period Lyndsey Plummer netted two foul shots for the Tigers only 2 points, while Warner added another 18 to take a commanding 33-4 halftime lead.

The second half was more of the same. Liberty managed 15 points in the second half while the Lady Eagles piled on an additional 34 for the lopsided 67-19 win.

Warner was led by Chesser with 19 points, Jackson with 13 and Fowler with 12 points. Liberty scorers were Testa with 6 points, Kya Wolff with 5, Lyndsey Plummer with 4, and Alicia Paz and Addie Carmichael each with 2 points.

The Lady Eagles will hit the hardwood next on December 5th when they travel to Hulbert while Liberty opens their home season against Chouteau-Mazie Friday night.
