WARNER  – The Warner Eagles hosted the first of two track meets to be held on the Eagles home turf. Twenty-Two schools over several classifications were represented in the 31 different events.

The most closely contested event was the Boys 100m with Nathan Nail of Henryetta squeaking by Kinyon Burg of Savanna by .004 seconds, 11.363 to 11.367. Eli Blankenship of Quinton ran a close third at 11.39.

Nail and Burg again finished one-two in the 200m still separated by less than 1 second, 23.17 to 23.81.

The Girls 100m went to Mckayla Greenhaw of Henryetta at 13.13, followed closely by Emma Floyd from Quinton at 13.45.

The Girls 200m was won by Lilli Giddens from Morris high school with a time of 27.62 Keys Riley Thomas (28.59 and Warner Eagles Kaylen Park, 28.92.

Sonny Proctor dominated the boys hurdles with a 110m time of 15.34 and 300m at 41.10. Proctor outran his competition easily in both events separated by more than 2 seconds from his nearest opponent.

Girls 100m Hurdles was won by Jordyn Payne from Daniel Webster, and the 300m went to Texann Baze from Sequoyah (Claremore)

Payton Zodrow of Keys took both the 400m and 800m dash events with times of 1:01.77 and 2:30.94 respectively.

The boys 400m went to Larry Yahola of Okmulgee at 51.03, and the 800m to Garrett Scott from Pocola.

Warner’s Koulter Drake swept the boys distance races with a 1600m time of 4:48.29 and a 3200m time of 10:23.49

In the boys 4×100, Eufaula squeaked by Okmulgee 45.21 to 45.25, but in the 4×200 Okmulgee got even with a 1:35.03 – 1:35.78 over the Ironhead sprinters.

The 4×400 went to the Keys Cougars in a close race with Okmulgee 3:38.26 to 3:38.35.

The 4×800 was won by Heavener at 8:45.54 followed by the host Warner Eagles with a time of 9:20.66.

The girls distance races went to Oktaha with Miley Holt in the 1600m (5:28.00) and Faith Blackwell in the 3200m (13:20.18).

The girls team running events saw the 4×100 going to Sequoyah (Claremore) in a time of 55.43 and Keys winning the 4×200, 4×400 and the 4×800.

The boys High Jump went to Chants Leflore from Savanna with a leap of 5’-10” and the Long Jump to Cadone Logan form Warner with a jump of 19’-8.5”

The girls High Jumpers were led by Savanna’s Sophia Calistro at 5’-4.00”, and also the Long Jump with a leap of 15’-09.5”.

Warner will again host twilight a meet on the 18th of this  month beginning at 3:30
