BRAGGS – The Sperry Pirates visited the Braggs Lady Wildcats Thursday afternoon and came away with wins in three straight sets 25-10, 25-5, and 25-11.
Braggs started off the afternoon fairly well in the opening set, but Sperry pulled away and never looked back. The second set was never in doubt after the Pirates ran off to a 15-1 lead and finished the game allowing just five Wildcats points.
The nightcap was more of the same for Sperry, jumping out to a 14-2 advantage and closing out the Lady Wildcats with the 25-11 win.
The Wildcats will be back on their home court on the 20th to take on the Hulbert Riders, and Sperry will return home to play Dewey on the 16th.
