WEBBERS FALLS – The Gore Lady Pirates played to a convincing win at Webbers Falls Tuesday night with a solid 49-26 performance.

The Lady Warriors kept it close in the first half, in fact, they led 17-16 with 3:00 remaining in the half and went to the lockers trailing by just 1 point 18-17.

Kennedy Williams topped the scoreboard for Gore with 26 points. Williams had lots of opportunities from the free throw line, earning 19 attempts for the night. She made good on 12 of those free throws.

Kayleigh Moore was close to double figures with 9 points. She and Williams combined for 13 points in the third quarter, while shutting out the Lady Warriors in the third.

The Lady Pirates scored 20 points in the third overall while keeping Webbers Falls off the scoreboard to put the game out of hand 38-17 after three periods.

For Webbers Falls it was Cheyenne Harrier and Bridgette Baer each netting 9 points to account for 18 of the Lady Warriors 26 point total.

Gore (3-6) will be back in action Thursday night at home when the greet the winless Gans Grizzlies who are 0-10, and Webbers Falls (6-4) travel to Kinta to take on the 8-6 Lady Eagles.
