BRAGGS – After a slow start by both Braggs and Haileyville, the Lady Warriors picked it up just before the half and led for the remainder of the contest.

The Lady Wildcats held a 2-point 9-7 lead after the first quarter, but the Lady Warriors surged late in the second to go to the lockers leading by 5 points 23-18.

After the break Haileyville kept the push going outscoring Braggs 12-5 in the third quarter to lead 34-23 after three periods.

Katelyn Chandler topped the scoring for Braggs netting 20 of the Lady Wildcats 25 point total.

Cadence King led the Lady Warriors with 14 points, 12 of which came from 3-point range. Ragan Kirks was next with 13 points and four other Haileyville girls contributed to the 35-point total.

The Warriors (5-10) remain on the road at Indianola (5-11) Friday, while Braggs gets a bye and a win thanks to a forfeit by the Bokoshe ladies.
