VIAN –  After leading at the end of the opening period 17-14, the Lady Wolverines developed handling problems and unforced errors. Those errors led to a loss to the Talihina Lady Golden Tigers 59.44

The Vian girls cold not handle the full court press applied by Talihina in the second half and steadily fell behind in the contest.

The Lady Golden Tigers were led by Khloe Holland and Ashley McClard who both had 18 points for the game.

For the Lady Wolverines it was Avery Wright in double figures with 11 points and Halli Russell and Kiah Richardson each with 8 points.

The bright spot for the Vian ladies was the free throw shooting that was 8-for-10 from the foul line.

Vian (1-3) will be back on the court Tuesday night when they travel to No. 9 ranked Howe (5-3) and the Lady Golden Tigers (2-1) return home to take on No.2 ranked Pocola (3-0) Saturday at @2:00 pm.
