WARNER – The Central Lady Tigers prevailed in a low scoring contest at Warner Friday night, when they defeated the Warner Lady Eagles 42-34.
Neither team could find the range in the opening quarter, ending the period tied at 8. Warner’s Stormi Lynch hit from down town for two 3-pointers in the first scoring 6 of her 8 total points early,
Kambree Ellis also totaled 8 points on the night for the Lady Eagles.
For the Lady Tigers it was Cambree Bair leading the way with 17 points. Bair knocked down two 3-pointers in the third to help Central pull away in the second half.
Haley Cheek was the other Tiger in double figures with 10 points and Hadlie Woods was close behind with 7 points.
The Central girls, ranked No. 15, will remain on the road to take on the 4A Muldrow Bulldogs next Tuesday night, and Warner will travel to Oktaha that same night to play the No.17 Tigers.
