WARNER – The Warner Lady Eagles were down early to the Morris Golden Eagles but responded before the half to take the lead 19-17 going into the break.

Adysen Dishman, Ella LaBounty and Kambree Ellis combined for 13 points in the second quarter to establish the halftime lead for Warner.

After the break both teams came out cold in the third with each netting just 8 points, but it was Emercyn Baldrige who took over in the final session with 10 of her 12 points being scored in the fourth to put the Lady Eagles over the top.

Asiah Barnett was the high point getter for the Lady Golden Eagles with 16 points, and Fire Clark, the other Morris lady in double figures with 10 points..

Both teams are scheduled to return to action Thursday in the second round with the final sessions scheduled for Saturday.
