WARNER – The Warner Lady Eagles had an easy time with the Okay Lady Mustangs Tuesday night by defeating the Mustangs 55-26 in front of a big crowd.
Warner jumped out to a 12-4 lead after the first period and never let their foot off the gas extending that advantage to 25-14 at the Half.
Addison Dishman and Isabella Henson were instrumental in Warner’s first half each scoring twice from beyond the bonus line for 12 team points, along with a stiff defense that held Okay to just 14 points.
For the Lady Mustangs it was Zoey Fulton who also had two 3-pointers along with 4 from the free throw line for a first half total of 10 points.
In the second half the Lady Eagles allowed just 3 goals from the floor but committed 13 fouls. Okay was just 6-for-13 from the line for a 12 point second half total.
For the Lady Eagles it was Kylee Crow this time with the two 3-pointers. Warner hit from long range 10 times during the game for 30 of their 55-point total.
Dishman was high scorer for the game fore Warner with 11 points. Fulton was high for Okay with 10 points.
The Lady Mustangs finished their regular with a record of 10-13 and will open their District tournament at Garber Saturday night.
Warner finished, ranked 20th in the 2A division with a 14-9 record and have two regular season game remaining with Oktaha and Keys (Parkhill).
