CHECOTAH – The Lady Wildcats of Checotah were sent to the Consolation Bracket Thursday by Muldrow but responded on the second day by overpowering the Eufaula JV Lady Ironheads 60-15.

Ruby Falkner topped the scoreboard for the Lady Cats with 21 points. Falkner went 6-for-7 from the foul line and score 9 of her points in the 22-point Checotah third period.

Jazlyn Atkins and Sidney Hamilton each had 9 points with all 9 of Hamilton’s coming from beyond the bonus line for 3-pointers.

The other notable for the Lady Wildcats was Shyanne Madewell who was a perfect six-for-six from the foul line.

Leena Green topped the scoring for Eufaula JV scoring 9 of the Lady Ironheads 16 points.

The Lady Cats will contend for the Consolation Bracket Championship Saturday morning at 11:00 am.
