GORE– The Central Tigers took charge from the opening tip off outscoring Gore 21-10 in the opening 8 minutes.

Things didn’t get much better in the second quarter with the Tigers again outscoring Gore 13-8, to take a commanding 34-18 lead at the half.

Noah Buzzard was the top scorer for Central in the opening half with 11 points with Josh Brunk next with 6 points.

For the Pirates Cain Cooper was high man with 8 points, 6 of which came in the opening period. Cooper would be top man for Gore 22 of the Pirates 39 total points.

Cooper had an excellent third period scoring 10 of his 22 points in that 8 minute session.

Buzzard ended the night with 20 points and Brunk also hit double figures with 13 points.

Central (11-8) will host Savanna (9-12) Monday night while the Pirates (12-7), who travel to 13-8 Hulbert Saturday, Host Panama (12-7) for their regular season finally Monday.
