WARNER – It didn’t take long to see how things would go Friday night. The Warner Eagles dominated the Class A Savannah Bulldogs 61-8.
The Eagles took the lead early in the opening quarter with a Preston Cannon touchdown, his first of four on the night helping Warner to a 54-0 halftime lead.
The Eagles went on to score twice more in the second half for the 61-8 victory.
Warner will travel to Central next week to take on the Tigers at Sallisaw Central, but the big test will come on the 22nd when they travel to Vian to take on the Wolverines in their first district game of the year.
