VIAN – In a game that was closer than the score, the Vian Wolverines (7-7) succumbed to Henryetta after a second half Knight’s rally.

Vian led the game at halftime 26-22, but as the second half began the Wolverine shooters went cold allowing Henryetta (11-7) to close the gap and surpass the Wolverines 41-37. The Knight’s took the lead with 1:05 remaining in the third 39-37. That attack was led by Alex Hudson who scored 10 points of his game total 16 in the that period.

Skylar Greenhaw led Henryetta with 19 total points. Greenhaw went 6-for-7 from the foul line and hit three times from beyond the bonus line for 3-pointers.

Masyn Wright led the Wolverines scoring with 15 points and Senior Diego Ramos was next with 10 points.

Vian will travel to Central Sallisaw to take on the Tigers (5-11) next Tuesday and the Knights return home to face Class 2A No. 2 ranked Preston (17-3).
