
WEBBERS FALLS – The Webbers Falls Warriors could not find basket Friday night and were outmatched by the Wister Wildcats in a breezy 41-21 victory for Wister.
The Wildcats took command from the tip off leading Webbers Falls 12-7 after the opening eight minutes.
The Warriors managed just 3 points in the second stanza and barely made double figures in the first half totaling just 10 points to Wister’s 28.
The second half was more of the same with Webber hitting for only 11 and the Wildcats adding 15 albeit with just 4 in the final eight minutes by mostly the younger second team players.
C.J. Halford topped the scoring for Wister with 14 points followed by Riley Crane with 8 and Landon Donaho with 7.
The Warriors had no players in double figures.
The Wildcats will play for the tournament title Saturday at 7:40 while the Warriors will vie for 3rd place at 5:00
