
WEBBERS FALLS – The Webbers Falls Warriors won their third consecutive contest Tuesday night when they soundly defeated the Gans Grizzlies 62-38.
After the opening period it was a close contest with Webbers Falls up by just three points 14-11, but a dominating second set the tone for the rest of the game when the Warriors doubled up Gans 16-8 to lead by 11 at halftime 30-19.
The Sharpshooting Webbers Falls squad hit 13, 3-pointers on the night led by Daylan Jarrard with four. Skelly Taylor and Ashton Davis had three from downtown and in the fourth quarter Luke Pierce had two and Maddux Sheby had one.
Nakota White and Bricen Lee were the only Grizzlies who hit from long range. Gabe Brunk topped the scoring for Gans with 14 points for the contest.
The Warriors were led by Jarrard and Taylor with 14. Davis was the other Warrior in double figures with 11.
Webbers Falls will try for 4 in-a-row Friday night against the Gore Pirates who just nipped the Tribe 52-49 back in January.
Gans will travel to Cave Springs (7-8) Friday night for a rematch with the Hornets who just snuck by them by 2-points 71-69 on the 24th.
