Gore – The Gore Pirates and the Keys Cougars held a summer basketball scrimmage to sharpen their skills for the upcoming 2019-20 season. With both coaches on the court the boys were put through their drills during 10-minute sessions all with a running clock over the 2-hour workout. Although not important, the Cougars were on top of the scoreboard for all but one of the sessions.
The new Pirate home, just opened this spring, is complete with stadium seating, an overhead scoreboard, LED lighting and a skybox for announcers. The Pirate stands guard at the entrance of the facility to give the team a definite “home court” advantage.
