
Gore – The outcome Tuesday night was obvious from the onset. The 15th ranked Lady Warriors of Webbers Falls (10-0) were up 15-0 in front of the Lady Pirates (1-7) after just three minutes of play.
Webbers Falls posted 31 points in the opening session with Samantha Shanks leading the way with 11 points. Shanks had 15 for the night with limited play in the second and fourth periods.
Eleven Lady Warriors contributed to the to the 76-point total. Besides Shanks, Lindsey Pierce was in double figures with 10 points, Samantha Griffith also had 10 and Trealynn Colston managed 14 for the night.
Oaklei Thornton and Aspyn Cearley topped the scoring for the Pirates with 4 points each.
The Lady Pirates take to the court again Friday at home vs the Okay Lady Mustangs (4-9) while Webbers Falls travels to Keota (4-3) to play the Lions.
