
FORT GIBSON – The #4 ranked Fort Gibson Lady Tigers (7-1) played host to another group of Tigers from Coweta who are at the #7 ranking and came out victorious in the cat fight 44-37.
Fort Gibson pulled away from the onset doubling up the Coweta girls 14-7 in the opening eight minutes. Coweta would get within a point in the second but from then on it was all Fort Gibson.
Kynzie London was the high point getter for Fort Gibson with 15 point, all from beyond the bonus stripe. Reese Webb was also in double figures with 10 on the night.
Linda Orice led the way for Coweta with 24 points and Allyson Mercer was next with 9.
The Coweta Tigers (3-5) will be back in action next Tuesday when the will travel to Claremore (1-4) while the Lady Tigers of Fort Gibson hit the road to Catoosa to take on the 2-2 Indians.
