WARNER– The Warner Lady Eagles (13-4)  made it three in-a-row against the Liberty Lady Tigers Thursday night with a 51-36 win and moved up in the OSSAA Class 2A rankings to the No. 4 spot.

It was the third match-up between the two teams with Warner taking the first two earlier this season. Thursday night the Tigers (8-11) made it a closer contest trailing by only four points at the half.

After the break, a shut down Lady Eagles defense allowed just 2 points in the third quarter while scoring 14, to run away from Liberty 38-22 after three.

Payton Sikes led the Eagles with 14 points and Harlie Chesser was close behind with 12 points.

Jenikka Boone topped the Tigers score sheet with 20 points on the night. Lindsey Plummer was the other Tiger in double figures with 12 points.
