WARNER– The Warner Boys captured first place as they hosted the 2021 Warner Invitational track mee Tuesday afternoon. The Eagle boys just nipped out neighboring Gore. The Pirate boys were 2nd with 89.00 points on the day.
The girls crown went to Poteau with 113.00 points finishing ahead of 2nd place Muldrow with 94.00 and Keys with 86 points.

The 4x100m relay was won by Beggs in both the boys and girls division. The Demons Boys finished in 44.45 and the Lady Demons went the distance in 51.52.

The host Warner took the honors in both the Boys and girls 4×800 with the boys finishing in 8:52.15 and the girls in 11:01.85.

The girls 100m hurdles went to Lindsey Michael with a time of 20.31. Zack McCoy of Heartstone topped the boys 110m with a time of 17.94.

Kenya Jackson from Muldrow HS was quickest in the girls 100m with a time of 13.88, and Desean Mays took the boys event in 11.69.

The Girls 2 mile run went Poteau HS with Ashley Johnson finishing in a time of 14:11.76 and teammate Maura Tecla second at 14:23.67. The boys division went to Ty Bliss in 10:40.79.

Beggs took the boys 4×200 in 1:42.02 and the girls were led by Keys HS in 1:54.70.

The girls 800m went to freshman. Sierra Winkler of Keys in 2:36.05 followed by Gracyn Soehlman (2:45.46) and Kennady Moore of Muldrow (2:46.28.

In the 800m Boys Harley Ray of Warner led the field with a time of 2:07.36. Ray was followed closely by Henryetta’s Austin Green (2:08.96) and Ty Bliss from Gore (2:10.27).

Muldrow took both the girls and boys 400m. Khadija Jackson led the girls with a 1:00.47 and Trenden Collins took the boys event in 53.09.

Myka Weeks and Channah Cline both from Valliant HS finished one-two in the girls 300m hurdles. And Heartstones Kline, who took the 110 hurdles scored again in the 300m with a 43.95.

Olivia Tate of Beggs just nipped Muldrow’s Jackson by .47 seconds, 26.47 to 26.94 in the girls 200m. Muldrow got even in the boys event when the Bulldogs Trenden Collins (23.43) nipped CJ Brown (23.58) by .15 seconds.

The girls mile was won by Taylor Petree in 6:17.10 and the boys went to Ty Bliss who just broke the 5 minute mark with a 4:59.52

Warner boys took the honors in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:40.84 and the girls event went to Poteau in 4:29.00.

Harlie Chesser and Mattie Berry both cleared 4’6.00” inches along with Allison Blagg of Whitesboro. Christian Dill of Talihina cleared 6’02.00” to take the boys event followed by Muldrow’s Trenden Collins (6’00.00”) and Eli Blankenship at (5’08.00”)

Collins was tops in the boys long jump with a leap of 20’07.00”. His teammate Kenya Jackson took the girls event with a jump of 14’01.00”.

Austin Restine won the discus with a toss of 141’00.00”, 40’1” longer than his nearest competitor Carson Parks of Warner at 120’11.00”. Bekah Bunch topped the girls at 120”05.00.

Midway’s Lacharielle Stafford tossed the Shot Put 32’03.00” to lead the girls and Charlie Mason from Beggs took the boys with a throw of 51’.08.00”
