With the 2019 OSSAA football season winding down to the final three weeks, granted there is a long way to go and a lot can happen, but here is the way we see it in each of the respective classes and district races:

Class A District 8
Gore seems to have the upper hand at the moment with Sallisaw Central close behind. The week 10 match-up at Gore will most likely determine the final district standings two weeks from now. Savanna and Porter round out the field of playoff hopefuls with Hulbert as a long shot for fourth and Warner and Talihina out of the running.
CSSNOK Prediction:
Gore
Central
Savanna
Porter

Class 2A District 5
With Holland Hall and Vian in a virtual dead heat for the district lead, Friday night’s game at Vian could determine the district winner. Should Holland Hall (6-1, 4-0) beat the Wolverines (6-1, 4-0) this Friday it isn’t over yet since Vian will have two less competitive games remaining vs. Pocola and Keys, while the Dutch will have Spiro (6-1, 3-1) remaining on their schedule.
CSSNOK Prediction:
Vian
Holland Hall
Spiro
Sequoyah (Tahlequah)

Class 3A District 3
Probably the most competitive district from top to bottom in Oklahoma, 3A-3 is loaded with good football teams. Since Lincoln Christian (7-0, 4-0) has shown dominance over the district to date, we have to give them the nod (so far). Checotah (6-1, 4-0) on the other hand has handled the competition well and has strength of schedule in their favor. Idabel (5-2, 3-1) is sort of up against it after losing to the Wildcats last week and facing Stigler and Lincoln Christian the next two weeks. Stigler (5-2, 2-2) who’s only loses were to the top two (Checotah and Lincoln Christian) will face Idabel this Friday for what we think will be the third spot in the tough 3A-3
CSSNOK Prediction:
Lincoln Christian
Checotah
Stigler
Idabel

Class 4A District 4
Our two 4A teams Fort Gibson and Hilldale meet this week in their annual rivalry. Although the Tigers are currently in a fourth place position and it’s doubtful they will be there come week 10. This week’s Poteau – Broken Bow contest could determine the top team in 4A-4 although there is a slight advantage to Poteau who have the easier schedule come weeks 9 and 10.
CSSNOK Prediction:
Poteau
Broken Bow
Sallisaw
Central (Tulsa)

Class 6A II
The Roughers dropped their first contest of the season last week and fell from the ranks of the undefeated. The week 8, 9 and 10 are tough and will be hard for Muskogee to overcome both BT Washington and Bixby. The Spartans look to be the odds-on favorite for the number one spot with a log jam for second thru fourth.
CSSNOK Prediction:
Bixby
Booker T Washington
Ponca City
Muskogee
